Reviewed: May 2, 2006
I was never very fond of asparagus, but this recipe really enhanced the flavor and I loved how simple it was to make. Great recipe all around!

French Onion Soup V

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
I used consomme instead of beef broth and the flavor was very strong. I added more water, about 1 1/4 cup more and it tasted great.

I used rasberry balsamic vinegar as did a few others who have rated this recipe and about half the sugar. Sweet and tangy! Definately a keeper.

Hawaiian Spareribs

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2005
I thought this was a really good recipe. I cooked the spareribs in the oven on 350 for about 45 mins, then I put them in the crockpot with sauce on low for 5 hours. Maybe a little less vinegar or a little more brown sugar but otherwise great.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: May 29, 2005
I wrote this recipe down sometime last year and then could not find it on this site again. I am so glad I've found it! This marinated chicken goes great in enchiladas. This is the best chicken marinade I have ever tried. Thanks for a fantastic recipe!

Sylvia's Ribs

Reviewed: May 28, 2005
A very good recipe. I cooked country style and whole back ribs in the oven with a little water for an hour and then transferred them to my crockpot and added sauce. I cooked on low for 6 hours and they were very tender. I will make these again.

Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2005
One of the best I have tried for steak, and also used for fajitas. The red wine vinegar gives a nice zesty flavor. I will recommend it and use it again.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2005
I think this is a very tasty recipe, I did use roasted garlic but the romano cheese and oregano together made the potatoes taste a little bitter.

Balsamic Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2005
A good recipe over all. I don't like my carrots to cooked so I did not steam them before I sauted them. I am going to try a flavored balsamic vinegar next time and see if that adds more zing.

Dijon Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2005
I rated this recipe a 5 star because it is easy to make, great on it's own, and would taste great with other ingredients added to it. This time I added some grated romano cheese and next time I will try roasted garlic. It's a keeper!

I had some friends over for a bbq and needed another easy side dish to go with my pasta salad and a great steak. This was definately it! The nice thing about this recipe is that you can adjust the amount of chili sauce for a perfect dish. Thanks, it's a keeper.

I used this recipe in the crockpot for spareribs and I think it would be great for meatballs as well. I cooked the ribs in a roaster pan on 350 for 45 min and then put them in the crockpot on low for about 4 hours. I loved the sauce. Great recipe.

The Best Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: May 22, 2004
The sauce was pretty good, but I found that the flour did not thicken it very well. Next time I will use cornstarch. I also added a drained can of pineapple. A good recipe.
