Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2013
YUM! So moist and a lot of flavor! NOTE This make a lot of marinade! We should have cut in half as we had a lot left over. Make sure to marinade for at least 12 hours for full effect. We also baked on 375 for 30 minutes covered in foil and 15 uncovered. Really delicious!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2013
My fiancé loved this recipe!! I made a few adjustments; 3 cups chicken stock instead of the can chicken broth and water, used 3 fresh chicken breasts (took out of crock pot after a few hours, shredded and added back into crock pot), added a can of drained black beans, used fresh plumb tomatoes (with skin removed) in lieu of canned, used a red onion, topped with lime juice and fresh sliced avocado. The more fresh ingredients the less sodium/preservatives. So delicious and easy!

Jo-Ann's Power Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2013
Delicious!! I make a double batch, cut into 24 squares, freeze, and take out of the freezer when I want to eat. They are always moist and filling. I used dried cranberries, cherries, and raisins, almonds instead of walnuts, and I added some flax seed. Next time I will substitute either another egg or more applesauce for the oil. I will definitely make again. Thanks for sharing!
