Tiramisu Cheesecake

Great! Just remember to take it out of the fridge for a while before serving; this way is softer and much better tasting!

Harvest Rice Dish

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2005
I made this dish for Christmas and my sister and husband loved it, they were amazed my all the flavour. But my father and brother in law said the orange flavour was too strong; maybe next time I'll reduce to half the orange zest.

Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2004
Incredible! I used the whole breast, but pounded them first and they turned out really juicy. I did cover the chicken with aluminum foil all the time it spent in the oven. It lacked crispiness thou, maybe next time I'll uncover it the last 15-20 minutes. I spread over the breast (5 minutes before they were done) the tomato sauce from the Italian spaghetti meatballs recipe and added shredded mozzarella and oregano. They were great. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

Kraut Bierocks

Reviewed: May 25, 2004
Excellent! I've never made bread before and did ok (not as hard working as I imagined). I used stone ground mustard and it blended in perfect. I've never seen these round rolls before so I made them in rectangles: folded two sides in, then the other two sides (like a burrito). One suggestion: don't squeeze the rolls in the pan cause they tend to expand; let a small space between them to allow them to grow. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: May 18, 2004
Excellent!! A friend of mine (who has made pecan pies all of her life) had doubts when I told her it had no corn syrup, but she loved it and asked for the recipe. I liked it better than the traditional pecan pie, because I personally don't like the taste of the whole pecan. I chopped the pecans on the food processor and it was wonderful. Thank you!!!

Didn't follow the advice to use olive oil to help the dressing stick to the leaves. Next time I will. Thanks!

Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: May 11, 2004
Amazing! I got scared when the bottom looked as if it was raw, but someone made me realize it was the sour cream that created that effect. It was delicious. Thanks for the instructions for freezing it, it worked out great.

Awesome Eggplant Rollatine

GREAT! I agree with the comments about the egg mixture being very heavy. I followed the advice and lowered the amount of parmesan cheese. It turned out great. Thank you!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2004
Great! I followed the recipe and cooked the meatballs in the sauce; they turned out very soft (unlike the ones fried). To give the sauce an extra flavor, I substituted the dried basil for 2t of homemade pesto sauce. Everybody loved the meatballs and the sauce. I will definitely do it again. Thank you!!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2004
Incredible! I was skeptical of all those good things said about the sauce and had to make this recipe; believe ME, all of them were true. It was delicious! I had tried a lot the chicken with ham and cheese, so I followed someone’s advice and filled them with pesto and mozzarella cheese. The pesto gave the sauce and extra kick! Just to impress my family, I spread the sauce over the serving dish, cut the breast rolls with an electric knife ( ½ inch each) and placed them over the sauce, then sprinkled some fresh chopped basil over the chicken. Everyone loved the meal. Thank you!
