Kids loved these. Spread a little honey mustard barbecue sauce on crescent roll before rolling up.

Very Good. Nice change. Would have never guessed there was buttermilk in salad. Added 1 can of drained mandarin oranges. Makes a very large dish.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2006
Nice change for green bean casserole. I did not use the butter or onions. I started with stirring the sour cream, salt, & sugar together. Then I added the green beans, cheese on top & cracker crumbs with spray on margarine.

Very good. Makes a lot! I baked mine in a 9x13 pan. I did not use the red pepper flakes, onions, or red pepper. I did add a little pizza sauce to the top & then mozzarella & pepperoni for more color.

Very tasty! Something different! Did not use the fresh onions or garlic, just used seasoning. I also substituted ground turkey for ground beef & Ragu for tomato sauce.

Granny's Swiss Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2006
This is very tasty! I did not use the peppers or onion soup. I fried first, & then put in the crock pot on low for 4 hours. It fell apart! If your meat is tough - it's not from this recipe. It's the meat you used.

Apple Bacon Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2006
This soup was ok. To me, it tasted like bean soup with a tomato base. I'm not a big fan of bean soup. I will try it again & use black beans like someone else did.

French Apple Pie with Cream Cheese Topping

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2006
I don't know what I did wrong, but I did not like this cake. I was looking for a pie, not a cake. The batter is so thick, that I could not spread it in the pan. It turned out ugly.

Very good. I changed the butter & sugar also. I also baked at 250 for 30 min, stirring once. Do not use sugar-free jello - it doesn't work.
