Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
This is good. Makes a huge amount. I only used 1 c.of rice & 2 c. water. I used the same amount of everything else. I also cooked the rice earlier so it did not get mushy. I did not have a wok, so I used a skillet.

Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
Great sandwiches. I use regular mustard & add 2 tsp worchesterhire. I do not use onion or the dill weed. I also refrig butter mixture before spreading so it is thicker to spread on the buns.

Brunch Pizza Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2008
This was just ok. I'm not a big crescent roll fan. It is easy & fast to make. Not as thick as some breakfast casseroles. I used ham instead of sausage.

Tomato Barley Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
This soup was average. I thought it needed some more ingredients. I took the soup & ran it thru a blender to puree it & then I added cheese tortellini.

Apple Enchilada Dessert

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
I don't know if I did something wrong, but I did not like this dessert. I did use fresh apples instead of canned, maybe that was my problem. It turned out mushy.

I doubled the recipe for 36 pumpkin cut out cookies. I also added more milk & a little more corn syrup. I added vanilla flavoring & omitted the almond extract. Frosting sets up great!

This is a great breakfast casserole. I have made it many times using different meats. Always a favorite. I do not let it sit out 30 min before baking. I put right in the oven.

Brunch Enchiladas

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2007
I agreed with some other reviews- this is bland. I'm not a big sausage fan, so I wouldn't do it with sausage. In order to have any flavor, you must add the salsa & sour cream.

Ham and Swiss Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2007
Very Good. I made a few substitutions for what I had at home. I used cream of chicken soup, 1 cup french onion chip dip made with sour cream for the 1 cup of sour cream & omitted the onion & green pepper. I cooked the noodles & then mixed the rest together & put it in the crock-pot on low for 3 hrs.
