Pudding Poke Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
Great cake! I used white cake, 2 pkgs of sugar-free instant chocolate fudge pudding & 1/2 c. powdered sugar. (Next time I am not going to use any powdered sugar.) I poured 1/2 the pudding on the warm cake. I added 1 - 8oz. chocolate cool whip to remaining pudding & put on the cake when it was cooled. Next time I am going to slice bananas on top of the cake before I pour the remaining pudding mixture on top of it. Very Light & yummy.

I did not have feta cheese, so I used some ricotta cheese & parmesan cheese. I also substituted a can of stewed tomatoes for the chopped tomatoes. Very good.

Very good. The cake did not have as much oreo taste as I hoped it would. Might try it another time with chocolate cake.

Sausage Cabbage Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
I made this a little different in case someone doesn't like cabbage, it was easy to pick it out. I cut a head of cabbage in about 8 chuncks & boiled for a few minutes. I took the cabbage, broke it apart & put in the bottom of the casserole dish. I mixed together the cooked hamburg(instead of sausage), rice, tomato sauce & 1- 15oz can of chopped tomatoes & put on top of the cabbage. I topped with shredded cheese & baked. This is great & alot easier.

Sweet Potato Minestrone

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
A new 5 star recipe! I love soup & was looking for something new & different. This is it! I simplified this recipe a little by not sauting any of the vegetables. I mixed everything together & added noodles at the very end. I used canned tomatoes that had onion & garlic in them. I cut the Italian seasoning back to 3/4 tsp. I added 2 c. shredded chicken & used 7c. chicken broth instead of the vegetable broth. I also used 1 can of green beans.

Spaghetti Torte

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
This was good. Something different. I only used about 1/3 lb of spaghetti & increased the ricotta to 1c. I also used 1 16oz chopped tomatoes instead of the 2 chopped tomatoes. I used mozarella cheese instead of provolone and 1 egg. I also baked it in a 2 qt dish sprayed with cooking spray.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
This is good. Makes a huge amount. I only used 1 c.of rice & 2 c. water. I used the same amount of everything else. I also cooked the rice earlier so it did not get mushy. I did not have a wok, so I used a skillet.

Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

Great sandwiches. I use regular mustard & add 2 tsp worchesterhire. I do not use onion or the dill weed. I also refrig butter mixture before spreading so it is thicker to spread on the buns.

This was just ok. I'm not a big crescent roll fan. It is easy & fast to make. Not as thick as some breakfast casseroles. I used ham instead of sausage.

This soup was average. I thought it needed some more ingredients. I took the soup & ran it thru a blender to puree it & then I added cheese tortellini.

Apple Enchilada Dessert

I don't know if I did something wrong, but I did not like this dessert. I did use fresh apples instead of canned, maybe that was my problem. It turned out mushy.
