Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 2, 2004
Three stars because of the amount of changes made to the original recipe. I used the suggestions of many other people. I mixed the oregano into the garlic butter; added 1 sliced tomato, 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced, and 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil. I served it with Classico tomato basil marinara sauce for consistent flavors. This made it a 4-1/2 star recipe for my family. Yum!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: May 1, 2004
For some reason, this garlic chicken wasn't very garlicky. I will definitely add some garlic powder into the oil; fresh garlic mixture and I think the chicken needs to marinate for at least an hour to grab all of the flavor. My family also told me that it needs a gravy accompaniment, which means it was dry. I think I’ll cook the chicken at 350 degrees for an hour and see it that helps. If these things don’t work, this recipe won’t be made again.

Cheesy Ranch New Red Potatoes

Reviewed: May 1, 2004
This recipe was a wonderful start to something outstanding. Next time, I think I'll add some garlic powder and extra fresh ground black pepper to the ranch to spice it up a bit.

Meatloaf with Sour Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2004
This recipe is definitely for the brave. The flavors are bold and very strong. I will be making some changes next time I make this dish because the flavor of the onion dip was to. overpowering; 4 oz. of onion dip, divided with 4 oz, of sour cream, divided. I will also be adding 1/4 cup of milk to the gravy to thin it some. Other than some tweaking, this recipe is a nice change from an ordinary meatloaf.

Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2004
This recipe is awesome. I made couple of changes by making a sauce with the wet ingredients and the dry seasonings, then mixing it in with the burger meat. This ensures better coverage. Then add the crumbled blue cheese and form into patties. Also, I kicked it up by doubling the hot sauce; personal preference.
