False Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2005
This was pretty good! My hubby, who's not a big cabbage fan, thought it was a keeper. I used one can of soup and one can of tomato sauce. Might try using the two cans of soup next time, could use a bit more spunk but would definitely make again. Served it over rice with a crusty loaf of bread, dipping the bread was half the fun! Thanks for sharing!

Italian Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2005
I'm sorry but this recipe was a waste of time and money for me. Way too chunky for my taste even after I added extra water. Just a little over the top with all the ingredients. We could'nt enjoy the different flavors, just tasted mushy. Makes a ton and most of it went down the disposal! Better luck next time.

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2004
This was very good. My husband and I were quite pleased! So easy for a weeknight meal. Next time I might stir the chips in a bit. The basic ckn/bn/corn mixture has so many more possibilities...tacos, burritos, nachos. Yum! Yum! Thanks for sharing!

Garlic Bread Fantastique

This was so good! A tad too greasy but could put up with that for the excellent flavor! Did'nt have any sage but will use it next time. Thank you for sharing!

Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2004
This was just OK. A bit too strong for our taste. It felt like it needed something else. Might make again but would experiment with the quantities.

Pesto Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2004
This recipe was almost 5 stars but not quite. It was pretty yummy but the cream sauce was a tad too floury. I used chicken instead of shrimp. It's very filling! Loved the taste of the mushrooms and tomatoes. Thanks for sharing!

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2004
This was pretty yummy. My meatloaf recipes always come out different and kinda bland and disappointing. The glaze really made this stand out. My husband is'nt a big fan of meatloaf but this recipe made him go "mmm" a lot at dinner.I cut this down to 3 servings and put it in bell peppers. There almost was'nt enough glaze, will make more next time. I also cut back on the sugar, it probably would have been too sweet with the amount called for. Thanks for sharing!

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2004
This dish was OK. The tortillas came out kinda chewy and it wasn't "mexican" enough for us. Probably will not make again, there's just much better ckn enchilada recipes out there, sorry ):

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2004
Yum! Yum! This dish was very good. The sour cream is a wonderful change of pace from ricotta, which to me can sometimes overpower a recipe. Like others,I used an italian shredded cheese blend. Of course, like most pasta dishes, this was even better for lunch the next day. Thanks for sharing!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2004
I could not stop eating these as they came out of the oven! This is the first recipe that impressed me enough to write a review. Slightly crispy on the outside and so gooey in the center. Can't wait to take these to work tomorrow. Thanks for sharing!
