I decided to follow the recipe to the tee, although I thought there may have been too much cumin. I actually doubled the recipe so that I could freeze individual burgers to be used throughout the next couple weeks. I fried the fresh burger over Pam after immediately making the batch. It turned out better than expected but the cumin could have been a tad less. My 19 yr old agreed. Now wait! This being said, I froze the rest; took one out for lunch today, baked it, and OMG! The flavors had time to mix together and it IS the BEST black bean burger I have EVER had anywhere. The secret is being patient to let the flavors blend. Out of a 10, with 10 being the best, this burger is a 20!
