Guluptsie (Cabbage Rolls)
This was a winner, even the boyfriend who doesn't like veggies had a second helping of these. I tried to make this as close to the recipe as possible with what I had in the pantry, but dill weed is something I just don't have on hand. I added in a little of this area's "cajun" flair to it with a little cayenne pepper instead of the red pepper flakes. I also used some fresh green onion pork sausage from a local butcher shop down here that made these rolls amazing in my opinion, though it may be a little biased. I didn't have any venison either, but if I ever get lucky enough to get some, I'll definitely try this recipe again with it.

Chicken Enchilada Slow Cooker Soup
This was an instant hit! I tweeked it a bit for my tastes. I used a can of rotel, a can of pinto beans, a can of black beans, the can of corn, chicken broth, & enchilada sauce. I also put the onion, minced garlic, cumin, & chilli powder. I omitted the cilantro & bay leaves because I don't care for the taste. I added an enchilada seasoning packet & some lime juice. I slow-cooked it for about 8 hours, & served it with tortilla chips, avocado, cheese & sour cream. My family devoured it!

Chicken Mushroom Linguine
This is a winner!!! I made this for a romantic evening with my boyfriend. I did add a little variation to it with fresh spinach & parmesan cheese. Also, instead of using flour I substituted with corn starch because I've found it doesn't clump & thickens better.
