Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2013
My whole family liked it. I Loved it. I was so proud to have prepared such a good Indian dish for my family. I might double the amount of Garam masala, just to give it more of a kick. This recipe is a keeper, and I will be making it again soon! Best recipe (Hands Down) that I have made in a while. Thanks very much for submitting this recipe.

Very good cookies. I like them a lot. I even added coconut in the second batch. I didn't use raisins, although I did add walnuts, I will be making these again! I saved it in my recipe box!

Cherry Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2013
Everyone in my family seems to be very happy with these cookies. Its definitely a keeper :) I had to cook them for 12 minutes, unlike the 8-10 the recipe recommends. Oh, and they weren't very " Chewy " at all.. But they were indeed very delicious.

Potato Curry

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2013
This recipe is most certainly a keeper. Its simple, and very flavorful. Just like it says, it is very mild. I adjusted the recipe for 2 servings, then doubled the spices, making the spices a bit more intense. I didn't have Ghee, So I used butter instead. Nor did I have yogurt, so the next best thing was Sour Cream, Which worked remarkably fine by the way. I enjoyed this recipe, and I will be making it again soon! Highly recommended! Thanks :)

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2013
I liked it, so did my family, and my boyfriend. Although, the next time I make it I wont be adding that much, if any sugar. I just thought it was too sweet with the 3 tablespoons of sugar. Maybe It needs 1 tbsp. Another thing. The recipe says to heat the oil in the curry powder, which was a really good thing, but you have to be quick when you mix in the onions and garlic, because Curry powder will stink up the whole house. Its been over 24 hours, and every time you walk through the house, you can still smell the curry. I really did enjoy trying this recipe, and Its definitely a keeper. Thanks.

Spicy Indian Chicken Curry Yummy

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2013
This recipe inspired me to make my own version of it. I didn't like the idea of the whole peppercorns, or the whole cloves. I wouldn't want to bite into the whole clove, it would be overwhelming with sweet, which I did not want. So I switched up the spices a bit, a lot of bit, ha ha. I browned the chicken in oil, and set aside then I saute the onions, along with one garlic, and about 1 tbsp of fresh finely chopped ginger. Then added 1 finely chopped tomato, for about 1 minute. then I added 2 cups of water along with the following spices. 1 tbsp of curry powder, dash of cayenne pepper, 1/4 tsp tumeric, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, a dash of cinnamon, a dash of ground cloves, & 2 bay leaves. Im sorry my recipe isn't precise, I didn't think I would be sharing it.. but it was so good, I couldn't help but do so. This was in fact my first time cooking with Curry Powder and I have to admit, I like it. Ok So I let come to a boil, then I reduce to medium low heat, still boiling some, and in the meantime, I had the rice cooked, Then in the last minute I wanted some peas added to it, so I got the frozen peas and cooked in a bowl with a bit of water in the microwave! Then i added to the pot, Then I added a bit more water, and to make the gravy thick, i added 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, pre mix it in some water, then add to the pot, little at a time, you might not need it all.. Hope this helps somebody out there. The aroma of this recipe was amazing, and very flavorful.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2013
It was good when it was hot and creamy, but when it chilled it was like glue. I wouldn't make this particular recipe again, and I wouldn't put raisins in my rice pudding either, I liked it probably because I made it, but nobody else in my house could eat it.
