About this Cook
My main inspiration for cooking is my Grandmother. She's a wonder with food experimentation.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake cookies, cakes, and pies. Especially for other people. I'm too shy to hug new people, but I'll feed them to show my feelings.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My sister and I make a Christmas candy that we jokingly call "Christmas Crack," because it is so addictive. One batch vanishes into stomachs almost as fast as we make it. :)
My cooking triumphs
I'm slowly but surely learning how to make homemade breads. They're harder than the recipes say!
My cooking tragedies
Biggest mistake - At age twelve, I tried to make peanut butter brownies. They turned green somehow and so did my face when I tried to eat one. Most recent - I burned a crockpot chocolate cake and now my house smells like charred chocolate. Talk about a tragedy.

Chocolate Pudding Cake IV
I managed to burn mine to an unwholesome crisp. I thought that it was supposed to be dry like an oven baked cake, so I let it linger in the crock pot for an hour extra. Not a good idea. Charred chocolate really smells bad.

Sourdough Drop Biscuits
Good starting point. I went a little wild adding flavoring to the mix. Two teaspoons of peppermint oil or vanillia made for great treats!

Alienated Blueberry Muffins
Tasted fine, but not what I was expecting. I've had store mixes with same results. Fresh blueberries were nice though.
