Well, I'm not a student anymore (I created this profile back in 2004 while attending university) but have loved this site - and my ever-growing recipe collection - so much that I kept the profile! I'm now an IT Analyst by day, foodie/domestic goddess by night. I love Italian - it's the ultimate comfort food. I also love baking bread and cookies and attempting to create different appetizers and desserts. y parent's old home had apple trees in the backyard and every year, my parents, my sister and I would harvest the apples, peel them, chop them, and freeze them. We would form an assembly line and spend the afternoon just being together. I made a 14-lb prime rib for my parents and my husband's parents last year that came out beautifully. I can also bake a mean banana bread. Anything made with pumpkin fails me. It's sad, because I love anything with pumpkin in it but whatever I try to make winds up either not setting properly or tasting horrible.
