Reviewed: May 10, 2011
Don't need to use whipping cream. I used 1% milk and it still turned out heavenly!

This is a great weight watcher recipe. A half batch has 25 grams of fiber. Really too good to be true!!

Anise Biscotti

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
This is an outstanding recipe: the first biscotti I've made that isn't so hard as to break your teeth. Crisp, but not too hard. What worked really well for me was to chill the dough overnight. Still used some flour to make the roll, but much easier to work with chilled.

Bacon-Flavored Dog Biscuits

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
my dogs love this and other dogs do too. Even fussy dogs. I don't use eggs or milk, and add a teaspoon of baking powder. will try adding corn meal next time. I flatten the dough with my palm, bake, and leave the pan of biscuits in the oven after turning the oven off so that the biscuits get hard and dry.

Pina Colada Punch

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
This is really good. I made it for my daughter's graduation and had to make more just to have it around. So refreshing to just have a glass in the evening. I don't add the 7up until serving.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
Great recipe. I dismember the turkey as one would a chicken and boiled the back. Next time I will boil the wings along with the back for additional meat. lso I used only half the butter. Still was very delicious. Will never throw away the back again.

Very good recipe. I didn't have any oat bran, so used flax seed. Also added coconut after baking.

So good. I've made it many times for my kids who eat it like candy. Could probably back off some on the ginger.

Apple Butter Pork Loin

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
Awesome delicious family meal with mashed potatoes. Put 1/2 t. nutmeg in the potatoes. I make this recipe with a crock pot. I roast the pork in the apple juice, drain the juice and use for gravy, then thinly slice the pork and pour the apple butter mixture over. Delicious.

I won a casserole contest with this recipe. Who'd have thought to put garlic in a tuna casserole. I used 3 cans of tuna and elbow macaroni. Guess I won't have to buy tuna helper anymore.

Candied Fruit Biscotti

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2007
We like this recipe so much. I'll be making it for Christmas gifts. Adding a little extra flour right from the start made preparation easier. Maybe about a half cup more flour.
