Curry Stand Chicken Tikka Masala Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2013
Great recipe, just like in our favorite Indian restaurant. I only used two very large chicken breast, so there was plenty of sauce. I probably only used about 3/4 tsp of cayenne pepper and it left a nice after heat.

Creole Seasoning Blend

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Made Shrimp PoBoys (from this site) and needed creole seasoning. Didn't have horseradish, but had just purchased a bottle of horseradish powder from Penzy's spices and it worked wonderfully.

Shrimp Po' Boys

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Just made this for dinner tonight, and my husband loved it and he isn't normally a fried shrimp fan. Followed the recipe except for the Ponzu Lime, used soy and lime as suggested by others; reduced to two servings. Used homemade french rolls The remoulade sauce was outstanding.

Grandpa's Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
I would have to give this a one. At least for me, this did not turn out at all. After reading the reviews, I used a candy thermometer and tried to use my Kitchen Aid mixer. I started the mixer and went to the sink with the pan to put it in hot water, when I turned back to check on the candy, it was powdery. I was very careful measuring the ingredients, even used my digital scale to make sure the sugar amounts were correct. The only thing is, I do live at about 7300 foot level in the mountains of Southern California.

Eggplant Croquettes

Great way to use eggplant! Followed the suggestion of another person and made into a casserole instead of patties. Added cheese into and on top. Also added a few dried mushrooms I had on hand. Thanks for the recipe

Mom's Cucumbers

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2010
This was just the recipe I was looking for. One of my sisters-in-law makes a very similar recipe and of course never measures so I was looking for the correct proportions of sugar to vinegar. This was perfect! Thanks so much.

Outstanding flavor. Cooked quicker than expected, but I like mine more towards the well done, so I was very happy! Husband even liked this method of cooking.

Perfect Baked Potato

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
The first time since we moved to the mountains (7300+ feet) that I've had a potato that cooked all the way. Thanks! I used sea salt. Will brush salt off next time before serving.

Overnight Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
Outstanding recipe. We had our family Christmas Saturday and 10 stayed over. It was so nice to have the coffee cake ready to bake the next day. I heard lots of "this is really good" comments. So it was a big hit - no left overs! Thanks so much for the recipe.

Excellent Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
Outstanding! As we were eating this, my husband kept saying "this is really good" I used Kraft's cheddar flavored slices instead of shredded process cheese. Also added more shredded cheddar tha the recipe called for. Other than that, I followed the recipe.

Great recipe! I followed the suggested of CHUNG_BRENDA and wrapped the springform pan with 2 layers of aluminum foil then put the pan in a water bath in the oven, filled with 1 inch of very hot water. I left the cheesecake in the oven for 5 or 6 hours. It turned out perfect! Thanks

Company Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2006
Very good and easy! I had planned to use ricotta cheese, but found I didn’t have ricotta or cottage cheese. Since I did have a tub of soft cream cheese I used that - very good & rich. I added a 8 oz box of sliced mushrooms. I had a 14+ oz can of tomato sauce with mushrooms, but added the whole can instead of saving half, so in the final step I added a 14 oz can of diced tomatoes after draining off some of the liquid. My husband took a bite and said that it was Very Good – even before I had a chance to ask if he liked it! ! Will definitely make this again. Thanks for the recipe!
