My cooking triumphs
Winning 3rd place in the WTAE Channel 4 Heart Healthy Cooking Contest for my lemon chicken stir fry when I was 20 years old.
My cooking tragedies
I once made muffins with baking soda instead of baking powder (or vice versa, I can't remember) and they were so bitter I had to throw them away!

Ali's Amazing Bruschetta
Yummy but I add garlic like the other readers have done. I also toast the bread first, definitely helps keep it from getting soggy. I cut back on the olive oil to make it a little healthier.

Ham and Pineapple Kabobs
I sliced the ham and grilled it that way, instead of making kabobs. My husband loves it! Says he could eat ham every day if we grilled it like this and used the sweet and sour sauce. He wants to put the whole Easter ham on the grill next year!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
I couldn't believe how delicious this recipe was, and easy too. I just threw all the Easter leftover ham and potatoes in, very easy to modify to your taste. When I combined the broth mixture with the milk mixture, I thought I'd need to add spices or something, but once I tasted it, I found it didn't need a thing. This recipe will be used again and again in our home!
