About this Cook
I am 30 (as of December 2010), living with my husband in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago. I don't make dinners a lot but I love to make breakfast and desserts.
My favorite things to cook
Breakfast things such as eggs, casseroles, or breads and cakes and cookies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom is as my husband puts it "Martha Stewart, brought to earth". So I grew up with cooked dinners every night and lots of yummy deserts. Keith wants to know why that hasn't rubbed off on me.
My cooking triumphs
I make some pretty great cookies.
My cooking tragedies
I still am not that great at making dinners.

Boston Brown Bread III
AMAZING! I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfect. So moist, just a touch of sweet. I will be making this again and again.

Eggnog Gingerbread Trifle
AMAZING!!!!! I followed others suggestions and I added molasses and ginger to a spice cake mix and then I added cinnamon and nutmeg to the whipped cream. So very, very good and so perfect for the holidays. It may be my new go to dish!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
I made these just as instructed and they turned out perfect. I never would have thought of adding vanilla pudding mix. They are chewy, moist and just delicious!
