Garlic Bread Spread

My family loved this recipe. The only changes I made was leaving out the fine herbs and adding olive oil to the butter to make it more spreadable. The best garlic bread I've ever had!

Frijoles I

We really didn't care for these. The butter flavor was just really strange. We are not used it butter flavored pinto beans. If you are this might work for you.

I would have made these as is if I had the right cheeses on hand. I have no doubt this recipe is perfect as stated! I only had cheddar so I used a cup of that in place of the other cheeses. We just these patties as a side with steaks. They are sooo good. My son who was just complaining about eating zucchini couldn't get enough. I would even serve these with breakfast I think the zucchini gives a better flavor than potatoes. Thank you! I will never lose this recipe.

Tuna Salad with Cranberries

The ingrediants make this a 5 star recipe but I disagree with the amounts. It's good as is but not as good as it could be. I added a lot more mayo about 1/2 cup cranberries and I would add more dill next time. Although I was using freeze dried which may not be as strong flavored as fresh or dried. With my changes it was gone before that day was out.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

I made the recipe as is and it's wonderful. My husband and I actually hadn't had zucchini bread we thought was that wonderful but our whole family loves this recipe. It reminds me of a strussel/snickernoodle flavor. Yum! Oh we left out the nuts but they are pretty optional anyway. This one is going in my recipe book. Thanks!

Sweet Dinner Rolls

We love these in our family. I've made them at least 10 times. I've used them for hamburger buns (which really brings out the sweetness when you pair them with beef) and cinnamon rolls. I make them as regular rolls about twice a week. The kids love them for snacks. Awesome. They were less sweet than I expected (Not a Hawaiian type) but taste so good anyway.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs I

I tried this one out of curiosity. Grape jelly and chili sauce. What!? It was soo good. The first time I did it I made the meatballs and the second I used frozen. Both were awesome. I did make a substitution. I think I read a review where they used pineapple juice instead of lemon. Well I took a can of pineapple chunks and dumped it in juice and all. When it was close to done I added constarch to thicken it. Now that is only because I added more liquid than the recipe called for. My family loved having pineapple as well as meatballs to eat with thier rice. This recipe is a keeper. It's also been a great way to get rid of this generic grape jelly I bought that is so sweet it's yucky. It's great in the recipe. Thanks for this one.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

These are amazing! We love them in our family. I made them as directed the first time and then replaced the salt with garlic salt the second time for more garlic flavor. YUM!

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Yum and super easy. I of course made variations as everyone does. I added an extra can of chilies and corn and extra taco seasoning. A can of black beans and El Pato (yellow can) instead of tomatoe sauce. The ease alone gives this recipe 5 stars.

Emily's Famous Hash Browns

Yum! I followed the recipe except using a bit less onion per our taste and using just enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan. These were great. Thanks for the recipe. Next time I might add some cheddar cheese.

Gingerbread Men

These were a hit. My 5 year old was sure he didn't like gingerbread because he had some traditional gingerbread cookies last year. He tried these and loved them. I haven't tasted them personally because I can't have sugar but the dough smelled heavenly and my whole house smells yummy. My husband likes that they are soft but as a grown up would like them a bit spicier. I had no problem with the dough being dry. In fact it was very moist but I did melt the butter a bit. I don't think spacing them 2 inches is neccessary because they don't puff much at all. Which is great because they keep their shape nicely. Great recipe for the kids and those that don't care for traditional gingerbread. Thanks!

Pumpkin Cookies V

Best pumpkin cookies I've ever had. You hear all the time about stuff melting in your mouth well these do! It did make a lot of cookies. I put the extras in the freezer but kept eating them because they were awesome frozen too. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Stuffed Shells III

Good recipe! Perfect with a little tweaking. I added italian sausage to my cheese mixture. About 4 links and more was requested. From reading the reviews prior I was careful with the salt. Only adding 1/2 tsp of garlic salt and 1/2 of regular. It needed more after all. Next time I will try 1 1/2 tsp. I did not add the cheese to the sauce and thought it was great. It's a very rich recipe anyway. Next time I will cover my shells with sauce as directed. I took the shells to a potluck and left with an empty pan before everyone showed up. Yummy!

Terry's Texas Pinto Beans

Best beans I've ever had! What a great healthy and flavorful pinto bean recipe. They were even better the next day. Please soak your beans over night. I've read some reviews saying their beans were crunchy. You must soak them overnight or follow the quick soak method on the bag. I made my own red salsa and added that to the beans instead of the green. Really good would love to see what they taste like as refried beans. Try this one!

Fresh California Salsa

This would be a 5 star recipe had I used lemon instead of lime. Being from California I had never heard of anyone using lime in thier salsa but found two recipes that used it and tried it. It was okay the first day but the next day the lime was terrible in the salsa. I really reccomend using lemon and this would be a perfect fresh salsa. I used canned tomatoes, will use lemon next time and threw it in the blender with some extra chopped garlic cloves.

Casa Dressing

I've used this recipe since I found allrecipes years ago. I love it! I always use light sour cream or mayo and it makes a really good light dressing. I also just throw everything in the blender and I use about twice the cilantro.

Dump Cake V

Great recipe! Also made it with blueberry pie filling in place of the cherries and strawberry pie filling minus the pineapple. So easy and yummy. I also make it the night before so it has time to set.

Kettle Corn

Good but not quite as sweet as I expected. We enjoyed it but the fair kettle corn is much better. Next time I'm going to try the butter flavored crisco over the oil. I'm sure it would make it more flavorful.
