Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2012
Good recipe, the best part is it's simplicity.......for which I give it a 5. However the flavor is rather bland and definately needs the addition of some Italian based spices to add to the overall flavor which I gave a 3. I also, made my own bread crumbs. Buying pre-made bread crumbs is rather ridiculous. Not a bad meatball though!

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2012
Good recipe, not bad. Simplicity I would give it a 5, taste a 3. They were very dense, and could have used more flavor in my opinion. Not bad though overall.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
Nice Recipe, thanks for sharing. My Family loves Mashed Potato's, we leave the skin on however making for a less creamy more rustic type dish.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
I search high and low for different Biscuit recipes & I thought I would give J.P.'s a shot, I am glad I did! Great recipe, I tweak just about every recipe I see from anywhere & this one was no exception. I replaced the Milk with Buttermilk & used Butter in place of the shortening. Other than that I stuck to the recipe, which made eight nice big & fat, thick bisquits. Brushed the top with melted Butter and baked them for around 18 mins. at 425 deg. F. They were perfect, flaky & tall as you ever seen in a Bisquit. My whole family loved 'em! This recipe just moved to the front of the pack for our go to Bisquits. Thanks for sharing!

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2012
Excellent Recipe! I used some homemade Chicken Jalepeno Sausage I had on hand instead of Pork Sausage to raise the heat level somewhere just shy of a Nuclear Reaction. I use my own Bisquit making mix from scratch, other than that I followed the recipe ingredients to a T. I did put them on Parchment Paper and flipped them over 1/2 way through the cooking time. Good food for Entertaining. Highly recomended, thanks for sharing!

Chef John's Buttermilk Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2012
Great Recipe Chef John, thanks for sharing it! A fantastic addition to my sausage gravy and I am sure many other things as well. Everyone in my Family loves them. The only thing I am going to do different next time is brush the tops of the Biscuits with melted Butter instead of Buttermilk to get them to brown up for me a little faster without prolonging the baking time to get them to brown, but that's just aesthetics. Delicious nonetheless!

Banana Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2012
Made this for my Family & I yesterday, awesome! We all loved it, my only problem that I had with it was the somewhat tough layer on the top of the pie that the baking caused. But, thats my fault for not reading into the reviews a little more and realizing that some folks do not bake this pie at all. Nevertheless, it did not stick around to long!

Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2012
My wife is Southern & I lived down South for a number of years, Sausage n' Bisquits is one of my favorite Breakfasts. Bills Sausage Gravy recipe is fantastic, I highly recommend it. My whole family loves it. I did not change a thing, following the directions to a T. Very good & I highly recommend it to anyone who likes this sort of fare.

Easy Pizza Sauce II

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2012
My family really enjoyed this sauce on our home made Pizza dough, I substituted Italian Seasoning for the dried Oregano & Basil. Very easy to throw together with ingredients from your pantry.
