Family Man, father of three girls & Husband to my wonderful wife Mary. I have been cooking since I was 8 years old almost 40 years, as a latch key kid of a Single woring Mother I either learned how to cook for myself or got aweful hungry sometimes!
My favorite things to cook
Any Baked Goods, Breads, Rolls, Bisquits, Cakes, Pies etc. All manner of Meats on the gas/charcoal grill or in the smoker.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love cooking non-traditional foods for the Holidays, Pork Ribs, Beef Tri-Tip, no plain old Turkey or Ham for us!
My cooking triumphs
Cooking 130 lbs. of Prime Rib to perfectoin at once for 200 people in my smoking trailer.
My cooking tragedies
I cant say as I have had any Cooking "Tragedies" but simply the food I was cooking just did not come out the way I would have liked. I have never thrown anything away because it could not be eaten.

Fast and Friendly Meatballs
Good recipe, the best part is it's simplicity.......for which I give it a 5. However the flavor is rather bland and definately needs the addition of some Italian based spices to add to the overall flavor which I gave a 3. I also, made my own bread crumbs. Buying pre-made bread crumbs is rather ridiculous. Not a bad meatball though!

Easy Pumpkin Muffins
Good recipe, not bad. Simplicity I would give it a 5, taste a 3. They were very dense, and could have used more flavor in my opinion. Not bad though overall.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes
Nice Recipe, thanks for sharing. My Family loves Mashed Potato's, we leave the skin on however making for a less creamy more rustic type dish.
