Hard to rate the recipe per se since I was forced to make modifications. As I proceeded, the cookies were good, but a bit dry and crumbly as expected.
I only had 9 Tbsp of butter left in my fridge so I used 3 Tbsp of coconut oil to make it 3/4 cup. I also didn't have semi-sweet chocolate chips and used a 4 oz package of 70% cacao bittersweet chocolate which I broke up in the package with the meat tenderizer mallet; it cut back on the overall sweetness nicely. I used a mixer to mix all ingredients except for the chocolate which I did by hand with the wooden spoon. The dough seemed dry so I flattened it with the palm of my hand on my air insulated cookie pan which I lightly sprayed with oil. I only have one pan so I kept the extra dough in the fridge until I could bake it. I finally baked them 17 min. Let them rest 2 min before moving them to a rack for further cooling.
