Chicken Pot Pie IX
We went to friends for dinner and the host had made this very pot pie. It was delicious. Planning on making it myself and the crust as well; I will also try to reduce fat and sodium, though.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
Hard to rate the recipe per se since I was forced to make modifications. As I proceeded, the cookies were good, but a bit dry and crumbly as expected. I only had 9 Tbsp of butter left in my fridge so I used 3 Tbsp of coconut oil to make it 3/4 cup. I also didn't have semi-sweet chocolate chips and used a 4 oz package of 70% cacao bittersweet chocolate which I broke up in the package with the meat tenderizer mallet; it cut back on the overall sweetness nicely. I used a mixer to mix all ingredients except for the chocolate which I did by hand with the wooden spoon. The dough seemed dry so I flattened it with the palm of my hand on my air insulated cookie pan which I lightly sprayed with oil. I only have one pan so I kept the extra dough in the fridge until I could bake it. I finally baked them 17 min. Let them rest 2 min before moving them to a rack for further cooling.
