This was good, but the spices needed to be enhanced. I used a bulb of garlic, 1 tsp salt, 2 T Brown Sugar, 4oz can of green chili's hot, 1/4 tsp cayenne and 1 onion. Even though I added the ingredients above, it was still not enough. I added more spices and Worcestershire sauce. Even then, my fiance still added more chilli powder at the table. If I make this again, I will triple the ingredients.

Best Ever Corn Muffins

This are amazing! I did change the bisquick to cornmeal ratio (1 1/4cup bisquick and 1/2 cup cornmeal). I will make these again!

Cheesy Acorn Squash

This was good, but different. I can't seem to figure out if I like it. First there wasn't enough flavor from the celery and mushrooms. Next time I will need to double that. Second, I baked the squash at 350 for 45 minutes. The squash itself was great!

Cabbage Rolls II

Instead of cooking the cabbage rolls as instructed, I threw all the ingredients from the filler and the sauce into the crockpot on low and I added some chicken stock as well. This is because I used uncooked rice. When I got home from work, I boiled the cabbage and rolled them right before serving. These turned out good. I served them with "Mike's mushroom bread" and "Tomato and Avocado Salad" (both from this site).

Mike's Mushroom Bread

This is CRAZY good! I am not much of a mushroom person, so I was trying to be brave for my fiance. Let me tell you, this bread is fantastic. I did make a couple of small changes. Since I am learning to like mushrooms, I diced them instead of slicing and I used a round sourdough bread because that's what the store recommended. Next time I will use 1/4 cup butter since the cheese seemed a little on the oily side. Overall, definitely a keeper!!

Oaxacan Tacos

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Maria's Stuffed Chicken Breasts

This is a great recipe. I followed some others and instead of slicing the chicken and rolling, I slit a hole and stuffed. I also used three garlic cloves. I made the full batch of cheese mixture and stuffed some manicotti shells. I also poured some of the sauce on the shells. I threw the manicotti in with the chicken (same cook time) and they were both done at the same time. I served this with the Quick Garlic Toast also on this site.

Quick Garlic Toast

This was a fast and easy recipe. I used garlic powder instead of the salt, and I broiled one side with butter before I broiled the other side with the powder and cheese. It was good except next time I think I will use roasted garlic.

Watermelon Fire and Ice Salsa

I can see where this recipe has potential. However, I do not recommend making this on for an outside event. By the time we ate, the salsa was watering and lacked all flavor.
