Buffalo Chicken Wings III

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
Oven broiling is definitely the way to go. I used Frank's Buffalo Wing sauce, butter, crushed red pepper and lots of dashed of Tabasco sauce. It was not as spicy as I would have liked. I will make again and follow the recipe exactly and see what happens.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Great cookies! I used dark chocolate (60% cocoa) chips and omitted the nuts. This recipe makes a nice chewy, not too sweet cookie that my family enjoyed.

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
Very Easy! The best I ever made!:-) My parents loved this dish. Even my picky hubby enjoyed it. My dad said it was seasoned just right. However it was a tad bit salty for my taste. I did make some changes. I used Knorr's dry vegetable soup instead of dry onion soup. I seasoned the meat (london broil instead of flank steak) with fresh cracked black pepper and ground coriander seed. I also followed the suggestion to add a couple of splashes of worcestershire sauce, a splash of red wine and one clove of chopped garlic to the cream soup mixture. I will make again with the reduced sodium soups.

Cool Whipped Frosting

My husband loved it; me...not so much. It sets up nice but stayed too soft for my liking. The taste was very good.

Simple White Cake

Very Good! Very Easy! I doubled the recipe. It made a nice 3-layer 8" cake. I added almond flavoring for a nice reminder of my mom's cooking. Someone said it reminded them of pound cake; I must agree. I am going to make it again for cupcakes.

Sausage and Egg Casserole

My dad, the demanding eater, loves this dish. I use hot or spicy sausage to give it more of the favor my family enjoys.

Cranberry Martini

Beware! This cocktail is smooth and potent. I think this drink maybe better than a Cosmo. I decreased the vodka and increased the cranberry juice. It was DIVINE!

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

Super easy to make. My family enjoyed it. I prepared the fish in the George Foreman grill and used a small sauce pan to reduce the marinade into that yummy sauce. I will definitely make again.

Easy and Excellent! I make rum balls for the Christmas holiday. I make sure to give some away or I will eat all of them myself. I highly recommend this recipe.

Chicken with Garlic, Basil, and Parsley

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2005
This dish has a great taste. I had to modify the recipe since I am in the process of moving. Many of my dishes are packed up. I used fresh basil, dried parsley and minced garlic. I cooked it on top of the stove at a medium low temp until done. I will definitely make it again. Very easy.
