Italian Chicken Sausage Risotto

This is a good and easy Risotto recipe; if you have never attempted Risotto before start here. 15 minutes to cook the Arborio rice is probably not enough, you need all the liquid absorbed and the rice to be al dente. To get that creamy texture closer to 25 minutes worked for me, don't rush it. I would also suggest breaking up the sausage so that the pieces are just a little bigger than pea size. Enjoy. Sandy's Casserole

Very easy but very bland. Macaroni at the top of the dish was hard, not cooked, reccommend stirring half way through cooking time to remedy. Needs some kick and just spices in general.

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

These nachos were quick and easy, but bland. The tender flavor of green onions were lost in all of the salsa and cheese. Was expecting a surprise flavor combination with the title "Restaurant Style" and the high rating. Would make something similar again but add my own seasoning.

American Frittata

This is good. Modified a little for my taste. Sauted green peppers with onions. Also added sun-dried tomatoes with potatoes, ham and eggs. Seasoned with seasoning salt and garlic. Will work with browned sausage or bacon too.

Breaded Hamburgers

Very good, twist from a regular hamburger pattie. Added my own surprise taste with diced cheese (used pepper jack, my favorite) to hamburger mixture. Definite keeper.

Shredded French Dip

Easy Easy Easy and delicious French Dip. Followed directions exactly and everyone loved it. Had leftovers and fixed them this way. Julienned green peppers and onions and sauted in olive oil on stove top grill. Then added shredded beef to heat. Divided into portions and topped with pepper jack cheese. Heat until cheese melts. Transfer portions onto toasted hoagie rolls. Cut on diagonal for dipping in remaining au jus. I'm craving these again just writing about them.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Best Ever Cheese Bread

Delicious. Watch the 15 minute cooking time. Might be to long for some ovens, mine was ready in about 12 minutes.

Chicken Milano

Definitely the best chicken recipe to impress someone at dinner. I did follow other suggestions and double the sauce recipe. Also cut the chicken into strips before cooking, faster to cook and easier to control when it is done.

Amish Macaroni Salad

Very sweet. Reduced sugar to 1/2 cup for my taste. Just like my grandmother's used to taste. Definetely a recipe to keep.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Everyone loves these. Used only enough bacon to wrap the sausage once, with a little extra for the toothpick to hold. The smell is wonderful as these bake.

Egg Salad Sandwiches

Love this creamy recipe, especially the dill. Used real onions instead of dry. Recommend letting it sit for several hours for everything to blend together.
