Slow-Cooked Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
Great chili! Only changes I made were to use Chili Style diced tomatoes, and only 1 can of kidney beans and added 1 can of Chili flavored Pinto beans. It is not spicy at all so if you are looking for that then you will need to add a little something to it..but great base recipe. Was great the next day as a frito pie with Chili Cheese Fritos.

Bacon N Egg Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
This turned out great! Used 1 extra egg only to use up what I had on hand. Next time I will add a little more hash browns and some extra bacon, but otherwise YUM!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
This dip is awesome! The only change I make is to use a rotisserie chicken instead of can. I always receive compliments! Feeds a big crowd.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
I have been making this for years now! Every year it is the first question I am asked at Thanksgiving.."Are you making the green beans??" Once you make these you will never want the "other" green beans again!

This has become a staple at Thanksgiving! A unique and delicious alternative to the same ole cranberry sauce. Everyone raves about it! Will continue to make it every year. Thanks!

Spinach and Sweet Corn Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
My hubby and I loved these! Prepared with no changes and they turned out perfect. Could not convince the kiddos to try them..they said they smelled great but they couldn't get over the spinach part. Give them a few more years though and I'm sure they will love them as much as we do!

Cousin David's Slow Cooker Brisket

Dinah's Baked Scallops

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Made these last night and they were awesome! I added garlic to the butter mixture and I drizzled a bit too much on top..I couldn't resist! Next time I will restrain myself and just use it to dip them in while eating. I am planning on making these again using Panko crumbs as suggested by other viewers to add an extra crispiness! Definitely a keeper!

Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
Made these last night..delicious! Did not alter sauce..was perfect. Covered ribs with foil and cooked 1 hour, added remainder of sauce, covered again cooked for another hour. Removed foil basted and left uncovered basting every 15 mins for 30 more mins. Finished them on the grill, basted them there too, for 15 mins to get a nice char. Were absolutely perfect!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
This was ok. I followed Jillian's recommendations, and although it turned out ok and was very easy to put together I probably will look for another recipe to try as well. I did, because of time, have to cook on high..will try again one day cooking all day and see if it is better!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
Fantastic! Cooked for 5 hours on low then added green peppers for the last hour. The meat was perfectly tender and peppers still had a crunch to them. Will make again for sure!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2010
This is a great base recipe. I always try to try recipe first as written with no changes..which I did..and although everyone liked it, it definitely needs a little additional help for our family. Most notable was the sauce..was pretty bland. Am looking forward to experimenting with some of the other recommendations I've read on here!

Devil Crab Cream Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
Made this for NYE party and it was a big hit! I made as directed except added a tsp or so of creole seasoning and instead of a ball I did a thin layer on a large platter and covered with cocktail sauce. Was sooooo good!
