Easy Baked Tilapia

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2014
I don't eat fish but I am not opposed to making it for those near and dear to me. I tend to stick to one or two salmon recipes but my boyfriend prefers white fish so I had to scour the web. This recipe was extremely easy to follow. I was able to purchase two fillet at my local Publix for $4.50. I didn't measure anything but I did use a non stick spray in a glass baking dish and I sprinkled the Old Bay seasoning and garlic powder (didn't have garlic salt) over the fish until it was lightly covered. I put a dab of butter on each piece and then placed thinly sliced lemon on top and baked as directed. This fish created no odor at all while baking which was an amazing plus for me. I served it with mashed potatoes and steamed mixed veggies.

Honey Cake III

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2013
My only alteration was a juiced orange rather than orange juice as I didn't have any on hand. The cake came out great, easy to make, and smells and tastes delicious. Made two nice size loaves

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2013
I used this EXACT recipe with no substitutions or additions. I did use two metal loaf pans instead of one which is probably why my texture came out so well. The exact recipe as is came out wonderfully. Try it this way first before making alterations.

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: May 6, 2013
The recipe was easy to follow though i used what was on hand. I used a bag of thawed broccoli/cauliflower mix that i food processed down a bit. I used the four eggs but only one cup of milk and no extra butter. I had mexican cheese mix on hand so that is what i used. i didn't use much as i don't like things too cheesy. I needed forty-five minutes for the quiche to set. As a base recipe, pretty good.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
I too added more brown sugar than white, replaced an entire cup of flour with ground oatmeal, I sliced in some white baker's chocolate that I had on hand, and I also added a tsp of almond flavor. Easy to make, gave me 36 cookies even AFTER freezing a 1/4 of it for quick cookies at a later time.

Caramel Apples

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2012
Very easy to make. Buy unwrapped caramels or you will be unwrapping for a full hour. I ended up with a huge puddle of caramel but the apples were still coated well.

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2012
I have made this twice now. I don't use the garlic but I add a full ripe jalapeno and add potatoes, carrots, and onion as well. The meat has a spicy kick but is not overwhelming.
