Peach Cooler

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2006
This was pretty good,a 10 year old made it. It was kinda fun having the ice cream plopped in it. We added more ice. We used fresh peaches and it was very tasty. Next time we'll try it with vanilla yogurt instead of ice-cream and blend it.

Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2005
This recipe is so easy and tasty. It really looks elegant too. I used a basic brownie mix and prepared it on the box per "cakelike" instructions. I added a tsp of vanilla to the cream cheese mixture for some extra flavor. I had no problem mixing it up even with the cream cheese right from the fridge. It's important to cook this in a preheated oven (I did it in a glass pan 350 degrees.) It was done when the toothpick came out clean and the top started to brown a bit. As an added touch I put chocolate chips on the top while it cooled. Don't try to cut it up until it is completely cooled. Wonderful quick easy recipe. Thanks Nat!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2004
This is a great family loved it. I did not add salt because I figured they could do that if needed. I personally think it was delicious without the salt. You do need to stir the milk base longer than 5 minutes to thicken it. I added 1/4 cup more flour since I like it think. My husband thought this was better than any restuarant soup. My neighbor had some and wants the recipes too. Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe!!! You could make this for a special occasion or just when you need a warm yummy pick me up!!!
