Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

My sister gave me a very similar recipe a year or so ago, and it is one of my family's favorites. I think the only thing I do differently is sprinkle, I'm kind of heavy handed, cheddar cheese on the top before I put it in the oven. I've also added a little salt and pepper to the dish, but otherwise it's the same recipe.

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

I thought the chicken was fairly bland with very little flavor. It smelled and looked really good when it came out of the oven, but it tasted like it needed something else. I followed the ingredients almost exactly, but I didn't realize I was out of parsley until I started to make it. Maybe that was what it needed. I baked instead of broiling the chicken. I used chicken legs instead of the skinless thighs. When my husband came home from work and reheated some, he really enjoyed it.

Three Cheese Baked Pasta

We enjoyed this recipe. I only used mozzarella cheese, because that's what I had, I used rotini noodles, and 1 very large jar of pasta sauce (we do not like dry pasta). I followed the directions for layering, except I put MORE mozzarella cheese on top and left off the parmesan cheese. Then I baked for a little longer than 30 minutes, but it turned out really good, and heated up well for leftovers. We will be making this again.

Toad In a Hole

I love this recipe. We called these "Bird nests" when I was a kid. I still make them for my kids, and we even put maple syrup on them. I also butter both sides of the bread. I've never tried them with cheese before. I would flip it first and then put the cheese on it. Otherwise the egg would be too runny for me.

Oven Roasted Teriyaki Chicken

We really enjoyed this recipe. My husband said it was better than a restaurant's, and asked if I would make it again. I used brown sugar instead of the sweetner and only baked it for about 45 minutes. If I had gone any longer than that, they would have been overcooked.
