Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2013
This recipe is good, but I feel like it's missing some depth of flavor. I made it in the crock pot with 3 chicken breasts so the would shred. I accidentally added double the cumin, but I like cumin so it's still good. I also added some veggies- corn and okra. I will play around with it and make it again. Thanks for sharing!

Nicola's Pad Thai

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2013
Nom is all I need to say! This was super yummy! Make double the amount of sauce though- you'll definitely need it! You could easily substitute different veggies, and I added a little chicken bc my husband insisted on it. Now that I have all of these ingredients in my house, it should be really easy to have PadThai any time I want! Yay! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2013
My husband loved this recipe, but I found all the dried herbs to be overpowering. I will make it again, but I will use mostly fresh herbs and less oregano. I felt it needed some sweetness, maybe from sweet, fresh basil, or something. I think I just need to play with the flavors, but the recipe was super easy! Also, we added onions and mushrooms to the sauce, and those were yummy! Serve with rice or something to soak up all the yummy sauce!

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2013
Yum! I was looking for an alternative to roasting veggies with balsamic, and this recipe was a winner! It was SO simple and fast, and my husband and I both loved it. I did reduce the cooking time to 13 minutes, and it was perfect. Thanks!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2013
This was THE BEST and EASIEST roast chicken ever! I used real butter (I don't like all the chemical stuff like margarine) and I added garlic and herbs de provence, and it was spectacular. I think I'll use less butter than recommended next time, but I'll definitely be making this recipe again!

Brussels Sprouts With Browned Butter

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2013
My husband and I really liked this recipe! We love brussels and normally just roast them. I made these for Valentine's Day, and we ate every bite! I browned the butter, then added the onions and brussels in to the same pan. I hate using more pans than necessary. They turned out great!

Savory Crescent Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2013
This recipe was so yummy! I used all reduced fat ingredients (crsecent rolls, cream cheese). I chopped up two organic chicken breasts, sauteed them with about 1/4 cup onion, and 1 garlic clove. Then, mixed with 3 oz recuced fat cream cheese, about 1/4 cup shredded smoked cheddar, 2 heaping tbsp diced pimentos. They were awesome! Next time, I think I might add some mushrooms and herbs in the mixture.

Chicken and Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2013
I used some of the recommendations from other reviewers (like fresh garlic), and my husband and I really liked this dish. It was a little salty for me. So, I think next time I will use chicken broth in lieu of the bouillon cube. I think I'll also serve it with rice next time to eat with that delicious gravy! Oh, and fresh mushrooms are the way to go instead of canned! I put a whole pint in mine :)

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2013
I really like this recipe for a classic, very meaty chili. I don't eat a ton of beef. So, I substituted turkey sausage, ground turkey, and ground pork, and it was yummy! It makes A TON though! I also think it would be better (for my tastes) with more vegetables.
