Absolutely the best! I've been looking for a good chocolate buttercream recipe for years and this is it! I followed the recipe exactly and I used Sanders Milk Chocolate Fudge Topping - to die for!!!

Lime Chicken Picante

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2005
The whole family loved this! My kids even asked for seconds...Only change I made was using olive oil for 1/2 the butter and topping with sour cream instead of yogurt. This one's a keeper!

Chicken Enchilada Soup II

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
Love this soup! It's a regular at our house. I omit the chili powder but that's it. You do have to watch it carefully once you add the cheese. It can burn if you don't stir frequently. Great recipe!

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
Darn near perfect! Excellent blend of peanut butter, chocolate and oatmeal. No one flavor dominates - easy to mix up and bake beautifully. A good thick cookie that stays soft - we loved them!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
I've made this several times and I've thrown away my grandmother's recipe! This fudge is sooo good - thick, creamy, and easy to make. I use all milk chocolate chips. Fabulous fudge!

Red River Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2007
This is good when you want comfort food. I added a couple of spoonfuls of dijon mustard and used fresh mushrooms. The gravy got so thick while it was simmering that I didn't need all the sour cream. Very satisfying and good flavor.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
The whole family liked these a lot. We like pancakes for dinner and these went together quicly and were fluffy and a little thicker than the old recipe we were using. I did add the vanilla as suggested by some reviewers. Really good!

Chocolate Banana Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
We all loved this cake, particularly on the second day. It was very moist and a good blend of banana and chocolate - one didn't outdo the other. I used the bananas, oil and eggs as stated and then added water to make the amount liquid equal what the box called for. Good cake!

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
Overall, this was a really good recipes. I made muffins and they were just a little dry but I may have overcooked them so I'll definitely try it again. Just the right amount of sweetness for us. I used 2 eggs and buttermilk.

Pasta e Olio

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
This is a keeper for us. Made it exactly according to the recipe. We thought it needed a little salt but otherwise a great side dish. Plus a good base recipe for using leftovers.

Honey Lime Mesquite Chicken

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
Loved this and it couldn't be easier! I had Weber brand mesquite marinade but otherwise followed the recipe. Let it marinate about 30-40 minutes and grilled it. Even the kids couldn't get enough!

Herb, Garlic and Bacon Pork Loin

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
Good recipe and easy to do - very tender and moist. Made it just the way it was written and even my kids liked it. I didn't have time to crisp the bacon under the broiler but will try it next time. I'd never roasted a pork loin before but this was easy and I'll definitely make it again.

Lemon Bread

We loved this bread! I added one extra TBL of lemon juice to the batter but made no other changes and the whole family liked it. Will definitely make again. The glaze had plenty of lemon flavor for us.

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
3 out of 4 of us liked this a lot. Only change I made was using 4 chicken breasts instead of 5 and adding some seasoning. I gave it 4 stars because it didn't wow the whole family but otherwise a good dish. I'd make it again.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Great recipe! The whole family loved them. I used dried cherries instead of raisins. Also, I did not chill the dough or flatten the cookies and they turned out perfect. This will be a regular cookie at our house.

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
Good recipe! I wish the glaze had been a little thicker but the flavor was awesome and the roast was tender. Even the kids liked it. I had a 3.5 lb boneless pork roast and it took about 90 minutes to cook. Definitely a keeper!

Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2010
This was delicious! Some the scratch recipes I've tried haven't risen very well or had the best texture but this was just about perfect. Light, tasty.....I used butter instead of oil and added 1 TBL of dry milk powder. And I didn't measure the honey exactly and used the light crust setting on my machine. Will definiltey make again - maybe tomorrow!

Cinnamon Cranraisin Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
I made this bread without the craisins. The texture was excellent and it baked beautifully. It needed more sweetness. I used honey instead of sugar and I don't think I put in enough. The bread made great French Toast. I will definitely make again but I might try brown sugar next time to improve the sweetness.

Light Oat Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
Made this in my bread machine and it was very good. Good texture and not overly crumbly. I followed the recipe exactly. Could use something but I'm not sure what - maybe more salt? I am planning to make it again and will try adding cinnamon sometime to make a breakfast loaf.
