The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2006
These cookies were Ok, but did not live up to the hype. My husband didn't like them. They were easy to make, but kind of tough and dry. I was hoping for more flavor. I don't think I will make them again.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2005
Just made these for the third time, and they turn out wonderful every time. The only thing I did differently was to use 1 package of Nestle milk chocolate and caramel swirl chips instead of the 4 cups of semi-sweet (and I didn't use nuts). The basic dough is so delicious that 4 cups of chips seems to overwhelm it. My husband loved them that way and said don't change anything, make them just that way again. We always freeze most of the cookies and just leave a few out at a time. Otherwise they would all be gone before you could turn around. I've tried lots of chocolate chip cookie recipes and this is by far the softest, yummiest, and easiest.

Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2004
There was just something missing. I added onions and garlic powder, we even put BBQ sauce and mustard on it, but it was still blah. It was fairly easy to make, but my husband told me not to make it again.

Best Beef Dip Ever

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2004
This was tasty but even though I cooked it for 9 1/2 hours my roast was just starting to get tender. It was too much for my 3 1/2 quart crock pot. I will try this one again but cut back on the soy sauce and rosemary. You really have to like these flavors to use the whole amount.

French Onion Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2004
This recipe was pretty tasty. I substituted 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix and 2 cups water for the can of french onion soup and omitted the celery (husband's request). It was perfectly done in 1 hour. I did brown the beef first and drain the fat. I will make this one again.

Beef Nacho Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2004
This was very good. I substituted sour cream for the mayo, used nacho cheese Doritos, and marble jack and cheddar cheeses. My husband, 4 year old, 2 year old, and I all enjoyed it. I 1 1/2 the recipe so we had leftovers which were just as good.
