I think the recipe was good, but could be so much better! First off I traded the garlic power for a few cloves of minced garlic and let it sautee in the melted butter until golden and fragrant. I used 1 1/2 cup skim milk, and a parmesan and mozzarella mix. I added double the pepper and just a pinch of salt. I was skeptical when I added the cream cheese to the butter, it didn't seem to be mixing, but once you add the milk and whisk away it all comes together. It had a great flavor, no cream cheese taste at all! Super smooth and creamy, I put it with linguine, shrimp, mushrooms and a little lemon. If only I had capers! The recipe says it makes 4 servings but I think it could easily be 6-8 depending on serving sizes.
