Rhubarb Cherry Crisp

Reviewed: May 31, 2005
This recipe is very simple and easy to follow. It tasted like i had made it a million times though. It calls for so few ingrediants which I also liked. I will make this again. Oh and I served it with chocolate vanilla check ice cream. The combination of vanilla chocolate cherry almond and rhubarb was a really wonderful mixture actually I will not eat it any other way :) Yummy

Easy White Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2005
This was the first time I had ever tried white chilli. I was a little suprised, not what I had imagined. It was however very good. I enjoyed left overs for lunch, even better the next day. I would cut back on both the oregano and the cumin, but add garlic salt and red pepper flakes. Careful with both, as a little goes a long way! I used colby monteray jack cheese, and I think it really complemented the taste. Give it a try.

Ham, Potato, and Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2005
This is the best potatoe soup I have ever had! It is so rich and creamy. I used a box of American deluxe cheese (I found it next to the velveeta) and a 1/2 lbs of mild cheddar. I like velveeta, but I prefer other cheese personally. This will be a family favorite.

This is very easy to make. I was in such a rush, I threw everything together exactly as the recipe called. Very good for breakfast. Next time I might add dried cranberries or apples. Thank you for sharing

This is the best recipe I have ever made. I followed the tips from TripleJ28 completely except for the white wine. Everyone loved it from my husband to my 5 year old. Soooooo good!

Cream of Asparagus Soup I

Reviewed: May 27, 2004
This was better then my moms version. I am not the best soup cook. I followed the directions exactly, and it was perfect. My 5 year old son loved it, after I told him it was "Hulk" soup. Very good, I did however prefer to set a few pieces of cooked asparagus to the side and then added them after blending. Thanks for the recipe!

Dovel Family Oyster Stew

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2004
I wanted to change a few things on this recipe, it turns my father had copied it down wrong. Although this is a recipe from my dads family, my grandmother taught my mother how to make it. When I fixed a pot last night I was so disappointed, I called mom and discovered dad had given me his
