Kim's Chicken Alfredo

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
The flavor was good; but I wouldn't call it "alfredoy". Instead of using 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup water, I used all milk. I also only used 1 Tbsp of italian seasoning. Other than that I followed the recipe as written. One thing I would suggest is to add and mix in the italian seasoning with the soup mixture before adding it to the chicken because otherwise all the seasoning sticks to the chicken and we didn't like that. Good-tasting recipe overall though.

Chicken Delight

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
3.5 stars. I made for my family. Cooked for 45-50 minutes and the chicken was pefectly done. I did take others advice and used french fried onions on the top and added a bit of cream cheese to the sauce and a bit of onion flakes to the sauce, as well. But it still seems to be missing something; we just didn't find it to be all that tasty. If I made it again, I might try adding less worcestire sauce and adding something else (I just don't know what).

Pasta Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
I made this recipe, but doubled the amount of hamburger and also added italian seasonings, onion flakes, mushrooms and garlic to the meat as it cooked. The meal tasted great. However, you definitely need to add much more pasta sauce, because it was really dry. I ended up pouring pasta sauce over the individual serving before eating.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
I made this for dinner tonight. I followed the recipe exactly and for some reason it turned out rather runny. But, WOW, the taste was amazing and this will definitely be my lasagna recipe from now on. I'll just have to tweak it a bit so it's not so runny next time. Thanks for the delicious recipe!

Banana Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
I made this pie as a birthday gift for my father-who has everything and loves homemade desserts. I took other viewers advice and did not bake the pie. Based on his feedback, he said it was absolutely fabulous. I'll definitely make this again. Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Lasagna II

Followed the recipe to a tee. I loved it. My husband loved it. My daughter said it was fantastic. It was great! I recommend baking it on a baking sheet in the oven as it overflowed.

Sloppy Joes II

Mmmm. This was so delicious. I followed the recipe exactly other than I added some celery too. Also, I used Splenda brown sugar and low sugar ketchup. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Absolutely fantastic!!!

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
I would give this 4.5 stars. I prepared this dish using 1/4 cup butter and no salt and a little sour cream (on the advice of a different reviewer who stated it was too salty). I didn't find it too salty at all (although unfortunately I like salt). I think I would prepare it the same next time, but add a little seasoning salt. Also, I think a little more cooking time wouldn't hurt either.

Cherry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out just fine. It certainly didn't set real firmly, but it did set. We LOVED the taste and it was extremely easy to make. I will definitely be making this tasty, simple recipe again!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2004
I can't say enough great things about this recipe. I had my students make it for our French Dinner where we served 100 people. I only heard wonderful things about it. We had to adjust it a bit by just frying the chicken up first. I had the students save the drippings and when we made the sauce we added the drippings to the sauce along with the boullion and wine. Thanks a million. I will be serving this recipe every year!
