I have been a Navy Culinary Specialist for about 5 years, although I have always enjoyed cooking. I love to experiment, and take great pride in the dishes I am able to create on my own.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook Mexican, Chinese, Japanese Italian food, and I am beginning to experiment with other ethnic dishes, such as Thai and Indian. I like to blend the flavors of many cultures, and see what comes out.
My cooking triumphs
I make some amazing gourmet pizza, and I've adapted Johnny Carino's fantastic Timballo recipe and cook it at home - my friends and family can't get enough!
My cooking tragedies
er.. those are a little embarrassing... but hey, I'm learning! ;)
