My favorite things to cook
I enjoy creating main dishes that have real healthy food benefits. Not one of my dishes is ever repeated or written down. It's like an artwork for me it's fun.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The Sunday roast dinner where it used to take 3 hours to cook the chicken and boil the green until they lost all there goodness.
My cooking triumphs
I have two, one was a chicken dish where I would fry/steam chicken breast and when half cooked add chopped tomatoes, ginger, garlic and mixed herbs. remove from pan, cut in slices place in casserole dish sprinkle frying pan ingredents over the chicken and top with prawns and cheese sauce sprinkle over mixture of grated cheese and breadcrumbs and bake for 35 minutes at 150c.
Second triumph was a fillet salmon dish. Salmon was dipped in a mixture and herbs and oyster sauce and let sit for one hour than fried on each side and placed on a bed of mashed sweet potato and served with aspargus.
My cooking tragedies
Once mistakenly tried cooking a ham, less said the better
