Oct 12 2012 My girlfriend pointed out this receipie to me and we made it up last saturday night. she was so impressed that she calls it gold.
we used san marzano tomatoes from italy, and added 1/2 teaspoons of sugar to balance to bitter taste of something..(maybe too much oregano cause i like it so much) I also upped the garlic to 3 cloves (from my garden) and 2 sweet red peppers from a jar. Spun everythig out in the food processor.. i did not add the tomatoe paste as i did not want to mix up san marzano's with who knows what. have since gone out and purchased 1 case of the tomotoes and will be having a marinara making day.. I will do up a big pot and can the sauce in my pressure canner. excellant sauce..
