Chicken Biscuit Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2000
This recipe was SOOO good!! I added some cheese to the recipe, because I am a cheesehead, but my ultra-finicky hubby gobbled this up, where he normally wouldn't even look at a "traditional" pot pie.

Sweet and Sour Sauce I

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2001
This was so quick and easy to make, with ingredients I had on hand. And it was delicious, I served it as a sauce for meatball appetizers and people loved it!!

Delicious punch, inexpensive and easy to make! The ice cubes are a great alternative to making an ice ring!!

Scottish Mince Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
Really good pie. Traditionally, I think meat pies have some ground lamb in them, which I will try next time for some added flavor. I, too, added worchestershire sauce and it added a nice bit of flavor.

Texas Sheet Cake V

Yum!! This cake was awesome! The best "from scratch" chocolate cake I've ever made. Incredibly moist and the frosting tastes like fudge!

Death By Chocolate I

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2004
This recipe tasted good, but the directions regarding how much chocolate mousse to use aren't really clear. I ended up using two packages of chocolate mousse mix and it didn't seem like enough.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2004
Very tasty. I think I'll leave out the red pepper flakes next time, a little spicy for my young family.

What a nice simple way to cook a chicken. My house smelled heavenly from the soy and sesame!

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2005
This was really yummy. After reading several reviews I made just a few changes. I cut down the sugar to 1-1/2 cups and used applesauce (unsweetened) for 1/2 of the oil called for. Also I didn't have any unsweetened chocolate, but did have semi-sweet baking squares so I used those instead. I made one loaf of bread and one pan of muffins with this recipe and they were both terrific!!

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
This recipe is great. My first batch turned out great. For the second I substituted margarine for the butter and the toffee was really soft and kind of wet. But using the butter, it all turned out so great! A very yummy, easy treat!!

I made this recipe for a tea party, it was really delicious as is, but to make it go a little further we added some diet 7-up to give it a little kick and served it in a punchbowl.Yum

This was a great recipe. I couldn't find Cherry Brandy and decided to try cranberry schnapps instead. Soooo good and great for the holidays!

Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2006
I knew I would like this recipe, but I wasn't sure about my family. But my picky husband and suspicious 5 year old thought it was really good. I think the idea of peanut butter and chicken is hard to accept, but the taste is so good, you get over it fast!

Caramel Shortbread Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
I am a caramel lover, so this recipe really appealed to me. The caramel and chocolate part of these bars are great, but I was majorly disappointed in the shortbread. It was awful. No taste, just crumbly and blah. I may try this recipe again with a different shortbread on the bottom.

Peppy's Pita Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2012
This is a terrific, easy recipe. The bread comes out so nice and fluffy and soft! With other recipes, I have had trouble getting actual pockets to form in the bread, but these are perfect every time! I made the dough and had my Sunday School class roll their own and watch them puff in the oven. They loved it!!

Tiramisu II

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2012
I've never made tiramisu before. This turned out wonderful. I had the hard ladyfinger biscuits as they were the only kind I could find. I doubled the rum/coffee mixture and quickly dunked the cookies in it. It turned out great. Very delicious!!

Apple Cole Slaw

This turned out great, and I've used it several times already. A nice change from the typical coleslaw. I omitted the onion and it was still great.
