This is a terrific, easy recipe. The bread comes out so nice and fluffy and soft! With other recipes, I have had trouble getting actual pockets to form in the bread, but these are perfect every time! I made the dough and had my Sunday School class roll their own and watch them puff in the oven. They loved it!!

Caramel Shortbread Squares

I am a caramel lover, so this recipe really appealed to me. The caramel and chocolate part of these bars are great, but I was majorly disappointed in the shortbread. It was awful. No taste, just crumbly and blah. I may try this recipe again with a different shortbread on the bottom.

Chicken Satay

I knew I would like this recipe, but I wasn't sure about my family. But my picky husband and suspicious 5 year old thought it was really good. I think the idea of peanut butter and chicken is hard to accept, but the taste is so good, you get over it fast!

I made this recipe for a tea party, it was really delicious as is, but to make it go a little further we added some diet 7-up to give it a little kick and served it in a punchbowl.Yum

Saltine Toffee Cookies

This recipe is great. My first batch turned out great. For the second I substituted margarine for the butter and the toffee was really soft and kind of wet. But using the butter, it all turned out so great! A very yummy, easy treat!!

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

This was really yummy. After reading several reviews I made just a few changes. I cut down the sugar to 1-1/2 cups and used applesauce (unsweetened) for 1/2 of the oil called for. Also I didn't have any unsweetened chocolate, but did have semi-sweet baking squares so I used those instead. I made one loaf of bread and one pan of muffins with this recipe and they were both terrific!!

Death By Chocolate I

This recipe tasted good, but the directions regarding how much chocolate mousse to use aren't really clear. I ended up using two packages of chocolate mousse mix and it didn't seem like enough.

Texas Sheet Cake V

Yum!! This cake was awesome! The best "from scratch" chocolate cake I've ever made. Incredibly moist and the frosting tastes like fudge!

Scottish Mince Pie

Really good pie. Traditionally, I think meat pies have some ground lamb in them, which I will try next time for some added flavor. I, too, added worchestershire sauce and it added a nice bit of flavor.

Chicken Biscuit Pie

This recipe was SOOO good!! I added some cheese to the recipe, because I am a cheesehead, but my ultra-finicky hubby gobbled this up, where he normally wouldn't even look at a "traditional" pot pie.
