Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are great chocolate chip cookies. Made this recipe twice with differing results that I'll describe here. Hopefully this will help others. My first time making these cookies, I decided to increase the yield of the recipe by making smaller cookies. Probably not a big deal if I was smart enough to cut the baking time as well. I found the cookies very crispy, largely because, I believe they were over baked. Second time baking the cookies, I did a couple things differently; 1) I used homestyle white, best for bread flour instead of all purpose and 2) I made a larger cookie. Basically, they were at least as big as golf ball. Even at this size I got around 30 cookies from the recipe and actually had to bake them for a few extra minutes. I could just see some light browning on the bottom of the cookie when I removed them from the oven and they turned out perfect. I also prefer using mini kisses style chocolate chips, They are slightly larger than a standard chocolate chip, and that gives this extra chocolate burst when you hit one. Great recipe. I definitely recommend trying this one.

Chocolate Cakes with Liquid Centers
This has to be one of the best recipes I've tried so far on this site. Just awesome. Only made half the recipe first time around. The ingredient quantities made it very easy to only make half the recipe. Used a muffin pan instead of ramekins, which worked pretty well. Made unmolding the cakes a little more awkward, but nothing difficult. I did have to leave them in the oven 2 minutes longer than the recipe calls for. The very centre of the cake still looked a little wet when I took it out and it was perfect. Gooey on inside but not too much so. Great recipe.
