Simple, easy, delicious! My modifications: I didn't have that kind of wine, so I skipped it. I'm not a fan of Swiss cheese, so I only used provolone. I turned up the heat on the soup just enough when I was ready to serve it so that the heat of the soup would melt the slice of provolone cheese I put into a regular soup bowl. I then sprinkled into the soup a few Caesar croutons I already had purchased before. The cheese melted, the croutons soaked, and I skipped the whole broiler thing. I'm no chef, so perhaps these modifications wouldn't work for more sophisticated tastes, but for me, it was easy and delicious!
