About this Cook
I enjoy tennis, piano, guitar, going to the gym and eating healthy foods(you probably couldn't tell by what I cook!) I just want to have a good time in everything I do and have no regrets!
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy to cook and bake dishes such as Italian soups, cakes, pan dishes and casseroles, crockpot meals and especially breakfast items.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom and I annually enjoy visiting some family of ours in Mississippi where it is a time of good food.family and great times.
My cooking triumphs
I have had the accomplishment oh having my cakes entered into the state fair receiving first place. I also bake cakes for a local deli.
My cooking tragedies
Once,I forgot to boil the noodles when I made lasagna and everybody at the table was chewing awkwardly. It finally dawned upon me when I took my first bite,it was like chewing on rubber. Also,I oncew had the bright idea of butting beets in a cream based soup I made and the beets turned the soup into a purple mess. So,now I have learned my lesson to NEVER use beets in light colored soup. Alright, enough of my now,i know I shouldn't be telling everybody on this website this, but I simply can't resist. One time I was going to make a cake for a little girl's birthday party. But I was in a bind and wasn't able to. My mom ended up making the cake.Well anyway, what appened was my mom(not being the Iron Chef or anything)used a cup more oil than was instructed by the recipe. When we were at the party and nobody was eating the cake, she actually asked why...she got no answer... Well now she can actually bake a cake after a few lessons from me and everybody is pleased.
