So I deviated a bit from the recipe, but as is, the sauce is still delicious! I doubled it and added a cup of Romano cheese, grated, and an additional half cup of parm. I used heavy whipping cream because I was out of heavy cream. Other than that I combined ingredients as directed. I made this for Mother's day and my family raved about the sauce! I served it over penne pasta with spinach, turkey bacon, and mushrooms. IT IS ALL ABOUT INGREDIENTS! YOU MUST USE FRESHLY GRATED CHEESE.
