Sweet and Spicy Pork and Napa Cabbage Stir-Fry with Spicy Noodles

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
This is one of the best recipes I've ever made from this website. The first time I made it, I followed the directions exactly and it was amazing. Every time I've made it since, I've improvised and added things we have in the vegetable drawer and it's always just as good, if not better. LOVE this recipe!

Baked Spaghetti Squash with Beef and Veggies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
Very good use of the spaghetti squash in a savory dish. I was looking for a recipe that wasn't sweet, and this was great!

Emily's Famous Hash Browns

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
I struggled with making good hash browns at home until I found this recipe. It's absolutely perfect and makes crunchy hash browns, which I love.

Ethiopian Cabbage Dish

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
Good recipe, but I wasn't impressed by the amount of seasoning. If I make this again, I will double the seasonings.

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
Very good. I doubled the vegetables and liquid. I think next time the only change I will make is adding the vegetables halfway through cooking time so they aren't as mushy.

These are absolutely amazing. The skin gets crunchy and the inside is perfectly soft.

Oven Fried Chicken II

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
This was very good. It'll never taste quite as good as my Grandma's fried chicken, but it's obviously much healthier.

Kickin' Collard Greens

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
I think this recipe would have been better had I drained the fat from the pan after cooking the bacon.

These are very good, but more cake-like than cookie-like.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
This was a good dish that required very little prep work. I still prefer Brussels sprouts sauteed, though.

Roasted Kohlrabi

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2012
This was a great way to use kohlrabi, which kind of tastes like broccoli stems. My husband loved it, despite always being skeptical of new veggies.

Simple, simple, simple. I make this when I want a good filling meal but just don't have the time for complicated meal prep.

Sauteed Swiss Chard with Parmesan Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
I tried this recipe because we got swiss chard with our CSA share. It was very good, but when I made it a second time with chicken broth instead of wine, it was much better.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
My husband LOVES steak, and proclaimed this the best steak marinade he has ever had. You don't have to blend everything together - just toss it all together in a bowl and pour it over your steaks.

Sweet and Sassy Hash Browns

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
I love sweet potatoes, and this dish brought out their flavor in such a great way. I added a little extra cumin and it went perfect with eggs for breakfast.
