I've tried this twice, once as written, and once just combining the sugar, cornstarch, and cherries and not cooking them before baking. BIG mistake. The liquid didn't gel at all, so I poured out the filling and cooked again! Delicious--just be sure and cook the filling before adding to the crust.

Caramel Frosting I

This recipe was wonderful on a banana bundt cake. It does set up fast, so I poured it straight onto the warm cake. Delicious!

Mandarin Chicken Bites

I added crushed red pepper and some cayenne for heat to the orange sauce, and served this over rice. My family loved it.

I was expecting something sweeter, since the description calls these "cookies". I also thought they tasted too "eggy". We dipped them in honey or maple syrup, and that helped some. They weren't awful...just not very good.

Hot Chocolate Mix I

I followed the suggestions of the other comments, plus added a whole container of French Vanilla creamer and 1/4 c. malted milk powder. This is wonderful stuff! We probably won't go back to those little envelopes of mix again!

Zucchini Cobbler

This is absolutely amazing! No one in my family could tell that it wasn't an apple dessert. I didn't have a 15" pan, so I made it in a 9x13, and the crust was a little too thick. Other than that, it was GREAT!

Banana Slush Punch

Easy Lemon Cookies

Pineapple Angel Food Cake I

This really is the easiest cake I've ever made, and delicious, too. An added bonus is that it has no fat in it! I drizzled a powdered sugar glaze over each piece instead of whipped topping.
