Watergate Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a great addition to the meal. I did the 20 oz of crushed pineapple, drained, and a full 8 oz tub of whipped topping. I took the suggestion of adding a can of drained fruit cocktail, and I actually prefer it without. The flavor of the fruit cocktail didn't really meld well with the pineapple flavor, so save yourself the effort and make it without the fruit cocktail.

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
This was so good! I had been craving some macaroni salad, so I decided to make this one and I'm glad that I did! The only thing is that it was a little sweet like other people had stated, so next time, I'll reduce the sugar to maybe half a cup.

This recipe is the best! I make it all the time (I'm an extreme chocolate lover) and all my friends are impressed with it too! This is saved in my recipe box on this site so I can refer to it all the time!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
This recipe is awesome! I've finally mastered the art of pancake-making because of this recipe. I didn't change anything except that I added a little bit more sugar and fresh blueberries! The secret to making them golden, though, is to have it on a really low temp and let it brown slowly. It takes like 4 mins each pancake but definitely worth the presentation!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2008
These pancakes were great! I usually have such a hard time making pancakes (they usually don't turn out golden or the way I want them to look), but these did! I ate the first one just as it came off the pan and it was delicious too! I also made some adjustments to the recipe, like others, and added the teaspoon of vanilla and cut down on the salt by 1/4 teaspoon. One batch makes about 20 small/medium pancakes.

Quick Black Forest Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2004
This cake is so great that you can smell it all throughout the house even when it is in the oven! It looks great too, but you have to have the almond extract. That is what makes the cake. Without it, the cake is nothing. The glaze is great too!

Cherry Nut Delight

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2004
This recipe was great! I accidentally messed up on the crust by melting the butter, but it tasted great anyway! I also didn't sprinkle the crust on top but sprinkled coconut instead. Two Thumbs Up!!!
