Tantalizing Turkey and Blue Cheese Meatballs

Reviewed: May 13, 2010
Very easy to make, and a pretty moist way to cook ground turkey. My mouth, however, was confused...jalapeno/blue cheese/chili powder/Italian seasoning/soy sauce... The flavors did not come together (followed recipe exactly) and none of us knew quite what to make of them, or what to serve them with--ended up with a warm orzo, asparagus and tomato salad.

Cherry Cola Chicken

Reviewed: May 24, 2008
Ok... this is not 5 star dining, but it is absolutely 5 star taste. The chicken comes out so tender and flavorful- it even looks delicious (grilling is the only way to go). Guests marvel, my family looks forward to it, and I love the compliments I get when I serve it.

Hot Corn

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
For something so simple, this really is good, especially if you love corn. I used 1 can, and 1/2 bag of roasted corn (Trader Joe's)- delish. I cut back a bit on the butter and cream cheese, just until I had the consistency I was looking for. I used it to top chicken enchiladas, where it balanced out nicely the whole wheat tortillas I used. I can see lots of uses for this- layered dips (add spinach!), top spicy meat or fish, dollop into chilis, stews, chowders...

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2008
This recipe is a "find". Simple, yet fun and delicious. The dressing is perfect; we now use it for everyday. I served it for the first time at a party, and not only did people comment on it, they ate it!

Spinach Salad with Pepper Jelly Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2006
We loved this, and it went perfectly with the crab cakes we had that night (makes a good sauce to pour over meats and fish, too). I used feta cheese and chopped candied almonds, and I poured it warm over the spinach to wilt it a little like a previous reviewer said- delicious!
