Raspberry Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
A delicious muffin. I used 1% partly skimmed milk and light sour cream and they still turned out great (I sometimes find usuing 'low fat' ingredients will ruin a recipe but not this time). I also like this recipe because, compared to other raspberry muffin recipes I have tried, there's not much sugar. I did omit the confectioners suger on top. Thanks for the recipe - it's one I'll be making again.

Brown Sugar Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
This was a really great recipe. I used very thick pork chops without a bone. The 1 hour cook time was just right. The chops were nice and juicy. I would cut back on the cook time if your chops are thin. Due to time restraints at dinnertime I put the chops, sugar, margarine and soya sauce together a couple of hours early and left it in the fridge until time to cook.

Grandma's Rhubarb Torte

Reviewed: May 29, 2006
My family are big rhubarb crisp fans but this recipe was a nice alternative. I wasn't sure about the meringue on top but it complimented the rhubarb mixture nicely. It was my first time making meringue - it took longer to form stiff peeks than I expected.

Delicious!! What a nice flavor. Our sirloin steak marinated in this recipe for only 4 hours melted in our mouths.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2006
This dressing was great. Everyone enjoyed the Greek salad I made. I scaled it down to 10 servings and it still made a lot. Thanks for posting this recipe - I'll definetly use it again.

Mahogany Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
A very good recipe for chicken wings. I didn't have chili sauce so I substituted ketchup instead. This worked out for us as my kids don't enjoy anything with a 'kick'. Good to know ketchup can be used if necessary.

Ham 'N' Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
What an easy and tasty recipe. Husband and kids all enjoyed it. I was worried my dgtr wouldn't eat because of the onions but they didn't overpower the taste of the pie. I also halved the recipe and it turned out perfectly. I made in a glass pie plate and forgot to grease it - suprisingly nothing stuck to the plate! I found the biscuit/baking mix settled to the bottom of the cooked pie and formed a VERY thin crust.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
We loved these cookies. They were very soft in the middle - just how we like them. My family couldn't get enough of them - I'll be sure to double the recipe next time.

Savory Pork Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2009
What a delicious way to make a pork roast. I don't often use sage or marjoram - the combination with garlic was very tasty. Tasted great right out of the oven and again the next day right out of the fridge. Thanks for posting.

Scalloped Taters

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
This was great! Not good for people trying to watch their weight though. I didn't change the recipe and cooked in in my slow cooker on low for 4.5 hours. I wasn't sure what a 'cubed hash brown potatoe' was so I used McCain's Tasty Tators. After 4.5 hrs in slow cooker they broke apart but made a yummy side dish.
