Foolproof Rib Roast
I am amazed that on every recipe there are people that are able to have totally different experiences than the majority. I can see where gas vs electric ovens . .. along with altitude impacts cooking times. But you would think people would soon learn to make adjustments. But as a friend of mine used to say, " some people can mess up a crowbar ". This was a fantastic cooking method and I can see where some people would want to change seasoning. Can't imagine it coming out dry unless you bought a piece of meat that absolutely had no fat in/on it.

Busy Day Barbeque Brisket
1st to people who complained of it being "salty" . . .I use Kosher Salt on all meat dishes . . . was just fine. Re: liquid smoke...I used a "smokey" bbq sauce instead. Brisket is very costly for what it is . . .an inferior cut of beef. Used a blade/ mock roast. Otherwise all ingredients as called for, but mixed them in the BBQ sauce. Pre-heated the crock pot while prepping. 1 hr on low, 2 hrs on high, then 3 more hrs on low. Sliced thin, ladled sauce over meat. Meal was "to die for" tender. Not dry at all ? ?

Justin's Favorite Smokies
#1 I knew I wanted something more than cocktail wieners. I used Johnsonville Cheddar & Jalopeno Sausage. Heated the sausage covered with water in a sauce pan for 10 minutes over medium heat to cook out a good bit of the far. Cut each sausage into 3 pcs. Used Pillsbury Crescent rolls. Spread 1/2 tsp of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce on the roll.( tsp will run out all over the place) Next added 1/2 slice of Sargentos Pepper Jack on the roll. Then rolled up a piece of sausage in the roll Bake for 9-10 minutes at 375.(400 is too much for the rolls . .look at the container) Tastiest game treat I have ever made. The BBQ sauce mellowed out the peppers. Much . . much tastier than a wiener.
